APGC Senior Amateur Championship Archive
The APGC Senior Amateur Championship is the Asia-Pacific’s premier team and individual championship for senior male golfers. The winner receives an exemption into The R&A Senior Amateur Championship. Eligible players are male amateurs who have reached their 55th birthday by November 1 in the year of the tournament and whose handicap does not exceed the handicap limit for their age category at the time of entry, or who are an exempt player. The exact handicap certified at the date of entry is used for ballot purposes. Handicap Index Limits are as follows: Group A (55-59 years) – 13.3; Group B (60-64 years) – 14.2; Group C (65-69 years) – 15.9; Group D (70 years and above) – no limit. The tournament was inaugurated in 2006.
